"Five in a Row" was a 1989 single by Australian comedy team The D-Generation. It reached a peak position of number 15 on the Australian Singles Chart.
The song and its accompanying music video parodied five Australian musicians: John Farnham (played by Rob Sitch), Jimmy Barnes (played by Santo Cilauro), Little River Band, Kylie Minogue (played by Jane Kennedy) and James Reyne (played by John Harrison).
"Five more in a Row" Five in a Row was followed in 1991 by the aptly named Five more in a Row. Like the original this version also parodied 5 Australian musicians. These were: INXS, Dragon, Darryl Braithwaite, Kate Cebrano and Midnight Oil.
